Of all the core competencies we have to cover, I think as optometry students, everyone has a fear (to some degree) of binocular vision.

However, no matter what level of fear I had, I thought it’s best to crack on and really get my head around this, to the point that when a BV problem occurred in my practice, the other optometrists would ask me to double check their prisms. By no means am I an expert, but when you understand the basics of binocular vision, you will be able to apply them to the situations you might expect to see in your day to day clinic.

The aim of this book is to make it really easy to understand, as well as outline the tests you can perform and what to look out for in the results.
